2 year old in China run over-people just walk by

when i saw this article on the news it really disturbed me.

the callousness of the 'people' walking by this poor, sweet baby as she lay writhing in pain and all alone, was horrific to say the least.

my blood truly felt like it ran cold and i've been thinking about this little girl all night.

do any of you remeber any talks that were creepy in nature.for example i remember a talk where a brother said "when the end comes your friends and family will be against you" now if that is not crazy i don't know what is.i remember alot of talks regarding bible prophecy and the end times.all of this did not help reinforce the sense of fear since it was 2007-2008 and the united states was going through a recession.this just proved to be fuel for their talks.give good experiences of any talks that you have had that proved to be either weird or very creepy..

I gave him points for not laughing and messing up.

Maybe, it was viewed by some as such a powerful prayer that they 1/2 jokingly said that it would make a believer out of you.

I don't think the person meant it literally.

alot of members don't have a flag or country name beside their user name, and well frequently one doesn't know where that particular person is from, tell us your country, state, county or what ever you feel like giving out.

because i'm going on a cruise to bermuda tomorrow for a week and i will be fondly thinking of each and every one of you while i bask on the beaches and enjoy the weather.. bye..

okay,,, my cat was in a fight last weekend ... new cat on the block,, 2 drs away, territorial stuff .... .

twice, she saw the vet last week, and has two puncture wounds,,, one near her eye ... .

she was fine when i took her to see the doc on saturday, but now, her eye is infected again.. .

Yikes! Taking it for a drive was the answer to a vet a long time ago?

I remember my dad taking our dogs for a few of those "drives" into the mountains.

I'm still very angry about that.

Know what the "problem" was?

My mom and dad decided that they couldn't afford dog food anymore, so over the years my dad took them away and shot them.

I'm mortified by this knowledge.

Actually, I think they got pregnant, too, so he "took care" of the problem.

How bad have you wanted to write "The DA Letter"?

like many of you i am fading and am trying to stay the course rather than be dfed due to family ties.

but i so badly want to simply write a letter and be rid of this giant weight on my back lately.

just like a bandaid that is easier to just tear off, i guess.. .

when i was an elder i often was approached by publishers who wanted to report some kind of bad conduct by a brother or sister.

this led to all kinds of unpleasant, unloving situations.

the first question of the accused was always "who told you this?

I can't believe that people actually got turned in for owning guns.

I had a BB gun, pellet gun, and a .22 pistol when I was a kid.

They were controlled by my dad, so I could only play with them under his supervision.

Couldn't touch them any other time.
